Little Home Organised Terms and Conditions

Definitions

In this Agreement, “LHO” means Little Home Organised; “TF” means “Travel Fee”; “PS” means

Practical Session; “C” means Consultation; “CBP” means Clutter Buster Package; “NRD” means Non-
Refundable Deposit; “you” or “your” means the Client

Services

LHO provides consulting advice and practical assistance for homes, offices and children. C are advice-only appointments, conducted on-site, online, or by phone. PS and CBP are hands-on sessions where both Client/s and LHO work together to declutter and reorganise. Each PS is a minimum of 4 hours, otherwise C rates apply. CBP are prepaid packages with two Organisers. External organisation is conducted off-site and includes, but is not limited to: sourcing quotes, product research and pick up of storage items; it is charged in 15-minute increments. Workshops/Presentations vary in length, as determined by the Client/s.

Exclusions

You are responsible for all rubbish disposals, including the removal of any skips pre-arranged by LHO. Light cleaning while organising may be required but LHO will not be responsible for cleaning heavily soiled areas and may request a third party to assist, at your cost. All items to be donated or sold are your responsibility. LHO will remove donations that are size appropriate and donate on your behalf. Any donations removed offsite by LHO are irretrievable. LHO may recommend third parties (e.g. electricians) but payment of third parties is your responsibility. LHO will not be held responsible for any work completed by third parties.

Price

You agree to pay a NRD to secure each appointment, plus any travel fee, and balance amounts as quoted. Any extra storage items recommended by LHO are at your cost. If you need LHO to obtain the items for you, the time will be payable in 15-min increments. Weekday or Saturday rates apply. Prices subject to change without notice.

Payments

Our preferred payment method is bank transfer or credit card. Credit card payments incur a 2% fee. NRD’s must be paid to secure each appointment. Balance payments are due within 7 days. Packages are to be paid in full upfront and are non-refundable or transferable. Workshops are to be paid in full within 30 days of invoice and are non-refundable or transferable. In the event of non-payment you will be liable for all legal costs incurred by LHO in recovering the debt together with interest at the rate of 10% pa.

Cancellations

Any PS or C cancellations or postponements made within 48 hours of start time will incur a cancellation fee of $110. The NRD covers this fee. Please see current NDIS policy for cancellations. CBP are non-refundable or transferrable. NRDs for appointments cancelled outside this period are valid for make-up sessions occurring within 3 months from cancellation date. You agree to provide LHO access to the address within 30-minutes of the scheduled start time. If access is not granted, the session is forfeited and 100% of the scheduled amount will be charged.

Outcomes

Results depend on Client involvement, decision-making ability and implementation of recommendations made by LHO; otherwise results may not be in accordance with expectations. You will be guided by advice from LHO but all final decisions are to be made by you. You agree that LHO may ask probing questions to better assess your individual needs and you agree to be honest in your responses.

Limit of Liability

LHO will take all reasonable precautions to safeguard your belongings, however, to the extent permitted by law, LHO will not be held liable for any damage to, or loss of any kind (including to property or person or loss of profits) howsoever arising (including negligence on the part of LHO). LHO does not provide warranties for any goods recommended or obtained by LHO on your behalf, and will not be held liable if the goods are defective or unfit for the intended purpose. In any event, the maximum cumulative aggregate liability of LMO to you for any claims for loss or damage will not exceed the total price paid by you to LMO under this Agreement.

Intellectual Property

You acknowledge that LHO owns all intellectual property rights in the material, ideas, concepts, know-how or techniques that will be shared with you during the course of the session and that you will not use (other than for your own personal use), copy, reproduce or disclose LHO’s material, ideas, concepts, know-how or techniques, without LHO’s prior approval in writing.

Privacy Policy

LHO is committed to protecting your privacy. We will not share your personal information with any third parties. This includes any sensitive data we encounter while onsite. We make every effort to maintain the highest standards in dealing with personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988.

Photo Release

I grant Little Home Organised the irrevocable permission to use before and after images taken in my home or workplace for the purposes of advertising in all forms and media. No personal information will be published in any format; any photograph(s), first and last names, sensitive labels on documentation will all be blurred/removed during the editing process.
I hereby waive any right to inspect or approve the finished photograph(s), printed or electronic matter that may be used in conjunction with them, now or in the future; including written copy that may be created and appear in connection therewith.
I agree that Little Home Organised owns the copyright in these photographs and I hereby waive any claims I may have based on any usage of the photographs or works derived therefrom. I waive any right to royalties or other compensation arising from or related to the use of the photograph(s).
This release covers all photographs done on date of signing and in the future. I have read this release before signing below, and I fully understand the contents, meaning and impact of this release.
